Exobotics contracted for multiple satellite platforms to low Earth and Lunar orbit

Exobotics has been contracted by Geometric Energy Corporation (GEC), a Canadian based R&D technology service and consulting firm to provide its satellite platforms for a variety of its missions, including the DOGE-1 mission to the Moon.

Exobotics will be providing a 12U CubeSat platform and custom payloads for missions beyond Earth orbit which include next generation sub-systems such as solar panels, star-trackers, imagers, structures and payload computers to operate on its DOGE-1 mission later this year.

This pioneering mission shall demonstrate the first use of a CubeSat in lunar orbit. It will also be the first nano-satellite platform delivered by the UK for a commercial mission beyond Earth orbit.

Nadeem Gabbani, CEO of Exobotics says “We are delighted to announce our partnership with GEC, one of the most exciting companies in tech, by developing a range of solutions for their cutting edge space applications. We are also very proud to have the opportunity to deliver our technology on this mission and represent the UK as an emerging nanosatellite technology provider.”

GEC CEO Samuel Reid says “Geometric Energy is thrilled to be working with Exobotics on this project. This mission is a major milestone for us as a company as well as the DLT space in general, and we are delighted that Exobotics will be supporting us with their invaluable expertise”.
